Děti U: FRAGMENTY follows on from the performative walk Děti U and is its reverberation, its memories and resonances. At Palác Akropolis, the spectator experiences, in various echoes, the care for life, dying and death from differing perspectives, and through a fusion of their own story and the captured fragments creates the overall experience for themselves.

In a multi-genre journey through Palác Akropolis, a performative lecture, audio, video, (participatory) shared reading, dance and song illuminate the landscape traversed by a sick child, its parents, family, friends and acquaintances. Over the course of two hours, the audience will have the opportunity to experience the supportive network that palliative care is, and to do so from differing perspectives — from the position of an onlooking witness, of a parent and finally of the child itself. At its individual stops, Děti U – FRAGMENTY opens an intimate space for glimpsing life stories that celebrate life and the hope for a good life in the proximity of death.
