Between 2023 and 2026, Alice Koubová published dozens of texts in newspapers, magazines and online media. The genre of these texts ranged from prose poetry through literary columns, reflections, essays and interviews to answers to survey questions. The book [**Nevyslovená řeč na veřejném zasedání**](https://www.hostbrno.cz/nevyslovena-rec-na-verejnem-zasedani?ref=alicekoubova.cz) brings together a selection of these texts, compiled and edited by **Jan Heller.** The way the texts are conceived reveals further aspects of **Alice Koubová's philosophical thinking**, her distinctive approach to philosophy itself, to the world and to the problems of the contemporary world.

*Alice Koubová philosophises in the midst of today's world, in the state into which we ourselves have brought it. She looks for ways in which we might stand our ground in it together: not to escape, to act in concert, not to look for scapegoats, not to take offence. To hear one another and take the next step. And above all, not to give up on the possibility of thinking openly and acting courageously.* \-- Jan Heller

Among other things, the book offers a dialogue with authors and public figures such as Miroslav Petříček, Václav Bělohradský, Agota Kristofová, Martin Nitsche, David Böhm, Jiří Franta, Klára Laurenčíková, Handa Gote Research Development, Frédéric Worms, Bo Rothstein, Lenka Zlámalová, Steve Levistsky, Daniel Ziblatt, Hugleikur Dagsson, Donella Meadows, Edgar Morin, Pavel Barša, Anna Beata Háblová, Ivan Krastev and Stephen Holmes, David Graeber, Hannah Arendt, Ivan Vyskočil, Didier Eribon, Édouard Louis, Linda Bartošová, Georgi Gospodinov, Imre Kertész, Jonathan Glazer, Michael Haneke, Jana Šrámková and Jan Němec, Michel Serres, Bruno Latour and many others.
